Service Advisor

Minstergate Hyundai & MG York require a full-time Service Advisor.

This is a key role within the dealership as you will liaise with the existing/new customer base in order to keep them up to date with MOT's, Services and any other after sale vehicle requirements.

As part of the Aftersales team you will be responsible for:

  • Being the point of contact for customers requiring servicing, MOT or repair to their vehicles.
  • Managing the flow of information between the workshop, the rest of the business and the customer.
  • Handling customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Qualifying service needs and liaising with customers to fully explain required repairs and obtain authorisation for work to be carried out.
  • Accurately maintaining the service department DMS/Manufacturer systems in line with workshop capacity.
  • Managing the handover and administration of loan vehicles.

Skills Required: * Currently working in a Service Advisor role within main dealer – Preferred

  • Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT
  • Knowledge of Pinnacle – Preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills, and work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of the motor trade
  • Excellent customer service skills

Average 44.5 hours per week 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with one hour unpaid lunch break & 8.30am to 12.30pm Alternate Saturdays.
