I hate salespeople who tut tut over the make and colour of one's existing car, have to look surreptitiously in a guide price book, cannot be allowed to make a decision without disappearing behind a partition etc. All the negatives of poor customer care so typical in the trade.

From start to finish our minstergate experience was excellent. Tony, the salesman was immaculately presentable on our visit and did not pressure us and gave us details of the cars we showed interest in. He went out of his way to accomodate a test drive for us on the day.
The showroom was immaculate, proper coffee in a mug (rather than a cardboard carton) and the toilet facilities were excellent, providing equiptment for baby changing and disabled customers. Top marks for that!

Such a hassle free car purchase. Not even sure how we did it! There was no pressure selling just helpful friendly staff. Most of the purchase was conducted online via email which was great, just had to pop in sign the papers and drive off!

Seeing the Hyundai i10 ticked all the boxes for me (except I had been looking for a Polo) but as 2 of my sons-in-law had originally considered an i10, it seemed like fate. The son-in-law who was with me, (who is very hard to please), was particularly impressed by Marc Rotherham, and I agree. He was pleasant, helpful, thorough, without being pushy. He saw me through what could have been a very embarassing few moments when my card was not accepted.
I am very pleased with my little car. I have driven back to Wales with no problems, and it is now getting used to hills and country roads.

From the moment that I walked in the showroom I was welcomed. The friendly welcoming smile from the Receptionist put me at ease straight away. I was asked if I would like a drink which was much appreciated. I was introduced to Marc who would be my salesman. He was very friendly and also welcoming.
He took me to the car I was interested in, he explained some of the basic features of the car as I was taking it for a test drive. I told him what I needed to test in the car such as boot space, child seats and getting my children in and out. He said it was no problem and I could do what I needed to. He even helped me put the car seats in for the test drive. Whilst we were doing this my wife and children were being looked after in the showroom by the lovely receptionist Becky. She was great with my children which was appreciated.
On our arrival back from our test drive we were welcomed back by Marc who was waiting for us at the Reception area. We went over to his desk and discussed all the terms which he explained very well, Becky even got my children a drink which they really liked. Marc explained everything to me and he put my mind at ease about the finance side, he wasn’t pushy as I know some salesman can be. At no time did I feel delegated to make a purchase.
The paperwork side done and I went away very happy and excited that in a few days I would be getting my new car. Going back to the showroom 3 days later I was once again greeted by a lovely lady on Reception called Jill who made us a coffee while Marc brought the car round. Marc took us to his desk and we sorted the final pieces of paperwork out. He showed me every aspect of the car and answered any questions I had.
My experience overall was fantastic, from Marc, Becky and Jill who were very friendly and welcoming. Their customer service was excellent. I will be going back next time I want to buy a car and would highly recommend to anyone.

When looking for a new Motability car, I didnt want to be treated any differently to a customer paying cash or finance. I felt that Hyundai Minstergate treated me with respect and listened to what i wanted. I was determined to have certain features on my new car but also wanted height and comfort. Dave Chester listened and explained all features of the ix35 and suggested a) I take it for a test drive on a suitable day for myself b) i could have the vehicle for over an hour, this meant i could try parking it at home and get a good feel for the car.
This is the first time that service has been offered to me and one i will request time and time again. It helped me make my decision. I am still thrilled with my ix35 and will be talking about my experience with Minstergate for a very long time.

I spoke to several people who were driving Hyundai and everyone seemed to have nothing but praise for the service they received (recommendation goes a long way). The car looked great when i picked it up.
I have bought 5 cars from Welpton’s and Minstergate over the last 12 years. My experience has been that I have always been made welcome and treat with courtesy. Richard Strawhorn was fantastic, as I have a fractured spine it was very difficult for me to drive and he was so kind and helpful in driving. Outstanding customer service, while we were dealing with David Walsh, other staff members helped keep our kids occupied so we could fully concentrate on what he was saying. We chose to buy again from Minstergate because we feel well looked after and valued as a customer.
This is the sixth Hyundai I have bought from Minstergate which is an indication of my satisfaction with the company. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to say, when we were looking for a new car, I was reluctant to go and have a look due to pushy salesman at another dealership in cars. Upon collecting the car, we returned it to the showroom within an hour of collection, as when driving the vehicle we heard a noise and the car juddered when slowing down.
Chris, the sales man, immediately got in the car with us (husband and I). We took the car for a drive so that he could confirm the problem. When we returned to Minstergate the mechanics also took the car for a drive, returned to the service area and upon inspection on the ramps, it was confirmed there was a warped disc. This was replaced immediately with no fuss.
We really appreciated the way in which the problem was effectively rectified. The car is now running great and we love driving it.

This is the second car I have purchased from Minstergate and David Chester. I received excellent service both times and nothing was too much trouble. I was kept informed of all stages of the sale. The car was beautifully valeted when I collected it and the tank had plenty of petrol to get me home and more. In conclusion, I love the car and I would certainly recommend it and Minstergate.
